Thought-Process of Mindless Intellectuals

I decided to write about this topic – The Mindless Intellectuals – because mindlessness has become the most dangerous and communicable disease in modern times. Mindless-Intellectuals are the people whose IQ remains much lower than normal but they consider themselves highly intelligent and are followed by the bunch of Idiots. They go to schools and institutions not to become wise but to become fools, albeit they are being accepted very warmly all over the world. It is happening because most educated people are lacking basic components of wisdom within them and therefore, they are going on the wrong track.

I have met, heard, and seen many people who have gone to schools and colleges to attain knowledge and wisdom but they could only attain degrees along with some knowledge and missed out on accomplishing the wisdom. Perhaps, it has happened due to a lack of the right direction or excess teaching of unimportant things and making them believe that those things were the most important things in life. Another reason for this miss-out could be excessive pressure to achieve something other than education and wisdom, e.g., earning money, attaining a position, building a social status, etc. And they, who have attained these things, claim themselves as the most intelligent people even if they do not have a basic understanding of righteousness and conscientiousness.

Later, once they are well established as influential people, they start proving wrong things right and right things wrong, with the help of their money and position. This practice has been in force for a long time and therefore a huge percentage of the population is inclined toward immoral and sinful activities, and they consider morality and Dharm-ness as backwardness and against their freedom. The people, who support this thought-process and fuel it, are said the intellectuals whereas they are mindless Idiots. I call them mindless intellectuals. Why? Because they have studied something and they consider that nothing is right except what they have studied and what they think is right. It is not very easy to characterize them by a single definition but we need to think about many aspects of life and morality together. Let me take you through a few examples to develop a clear understanding of mindless intellectuals, which’ll be a great aid in the process of becoming and identifying real intellectuals.

1. Mindless Intellectuals think that God can have only one name.

I watched a video where an Islamic scholar was addressing the public. He was convincing people about the single-named-God theory. He said that the prime minister of India is Narendra Modi which is true. Later, he said, “If I call him (someone sitting on the stage) the prime minister, would that be right?” Then he said, “It is wrong.” As it was a short video on YouTube, it ended there, but, I understood why he gave such wonderful logic. It was because he wanted to prove that the name he thought was the name of God, should only be considered God. This logic could be convincing for the innocent public and mindless intellectuals but there is a catch. The catch is that the prime minister of India might change every five years, does that logic apply to the name of God too? No, because God is not a position but it’s the supreme power. The next point is that the prime minister of a country comes into existence when there is a country. On the other hand, God was there when nothing else was there and will be there when nothing else will be there. I have one more point to be considered. The prime minister of India is made by the people of the country while God is not made by the people. God is the creator and destroyer of everything. Even if humans are not there, God will still be there. Even if people deny the existence of God, God will still be there to generate, operate, and destroy nature and creatures. Thus, the comparison of God with the prime minister of a country is pure mindlessness. To be more accurate, the comparison of God with anyone or anything is pure foolishness.

If you still want to do a comparison, do it with something universal. Though there cannot be any near-perfect comparison of God with anything, numbers can do a bit of justice. It’s because you may call a number something else in your language but it would represent the same quantity everywhere. For example, two is said “deux” in French while it is said “aithnayn” in Arabic, but it represents the same quantity at both places. If we go by algebra and say that X=2 and Y=2, it means X=Y. Similarly, if I witnessed the presence of Shri Krishna as God, my wife realized the presence of Shri Ram as God, and my brother realized the presence of Mahadev as God, it means Shri Krishna, Shri Ram, and Mahadev are the same. Here, I would like to mention that our realization was not based on what these incarnations can offer us but it was based on what they have already offered us. They have offered us an understanding of Dharm which is something that can be given only by God. Remember, Dharm is neither religion nor Majahab.
