Avimukteshwaranand has been in the news for the last few months. I first heard him during the inauguration of the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi temple in Ayodhya. He was quite upset with the Pran-Pratishtha of Shri Ram Lala’s Vigrah (Idol). After listening to his statements, I can say that he is an illogical and Dharm-Virodhi person. I am sure that he is just a religious leader but has no clue about Dharm and God.

He argued that the Pran-Pratishtha shouldn’t be done in an incomplete temple. He could be said right if Shree Ram Lala had been sitting in a well-built temple instead of a tent, before this Pran-Pratishtha. Avimukteshwaranand could call it wrong if Shri Ram Vigrah was brought into an under-construction temple from a well-built temple. But because Ram Ji was brought from a tent to a temple, he was expected to be happy like other saints.

Another thing is that this entire universe is incomplete without the presence of God. Also, there is no limit of correction in any temple and anything in any universe. Being a Shankaracharya, he must know that the arrival of Shri Ram makes everything and everyone complete. Now because he doesn’t know these basic facts, he should leave his position and become a pupil of a Dharmik person.

He also argued that the Shaastra suggests that the Pran-Pratishtha in an incomplete temple should not be done. My argument is that Shaashtra is just like a pond while God is an ocean. Therefore, if you are requesting the lord to reside in the Vigrah (Idol), you should believe in God instead of Shaashtra. Yes, Pran-Pratishtha doesn’t mean that the man is putting life into an idol. It means that the man is requesting God to reside in that place.

Also, if he is so great person who lives life according to Shaashtra, why didn’t he ensure that the temple was not demolished in the first place? Also if it was demolished, why didn’t he or any other Shankaracharya ensure that the temple was built before anything else could happen? I’ll tell you why it didn’t happen. It didn’t happen because these people were busy enjoying their positions. It didn’t happen because these people didn’t take any stand for the re-establishment of the temple. These people call themselves Shaashtra-knowers, so why don’t they know God? Shaashtra are in place to make the people aware of God but these people seem to know nothing about God. When Ram Lala was there in the tent, why these people were sitting on big thrones? Because their understanding of God and Dharm is Zero.

I also heard him saying that the Pran-Pratishtha of only five deities is possible. He said Shaashtra have mantras for the Pran-Pratishtha of only five deities. According to that, Shri Ram Lala’s Pran-Pratishtha can never be done. Then why did he say that the Pran-Pratishtha should have been done after the temple was completely built? It proves he doesn’t know what he is talking about. Sometimes, he says that Pran-Pratishtha should be done in a completely built temple. Later he says that there is no mantra for the Pran-Pratishtha of deities except five. My point is that if he is so confused, why doesn’t he keep quiet and learn Dharm?

Recently, I also heard him saying why the Government didn’t take any action when the copies of Shri Ram Charit Manas were burnt. I am saying where was he when this misdeed was being performed? Why didn’t he sit in front of the parliament to compel the government to punish those bastards? Why did he raise this matter when people started questioning him about going to Ambani’s and Uddhav Thackeray’s house? He raised this matter now because he has nothing to do with Dharm but he just wants to play political games. Even if he is raising this matter now, why is he just giving media bytes? He is sitting at the post of Shankaracharya, he must be having a big people base. Then why can’t he come on the roads with his people to ensure that those who disrespected the God-book are given the death penalty?

I know that he would not do this because he doesn’t understand Dharm, Shaashtra, and God. He has just by hearted some of the information from Shaashtra and claimed himself to be God-man. He has not studied the Dharm and he did not surrender himself to the lord, else he would talk sense. His opposition to the Shree Ram Temple Pran-Pratishtha makes him bhagwad-drohi (God Opposer). If he is a real saint, he should know that a political party who is building the temple for politics is better than the one who is against it.
